Hopepunk City [Android]

Your character hails from a war-ravaged region but has been fortunate to obtain sponsorship to relocate to a new city. You have the option to either step into the shoes of a returning player character from previous games (DA/SITA or AiP), representing someone sponsored by Ariane, or create an entirely new character who has secured a sponsorship through winning a competition. You can choose to be either male or female.

Upon arrival, you find your new home shared with three women: Ariane, Rachel, and Maya. The primary goal of the game is to secure a respectable job, forge friendships with your trio of housemates, and, if successful, contribute to a strategy that will ensure the survival of the city-state for an extended period.

The game commences in a refugee processing zone, where instead of beginning with a lengthy narrative exposition, a more engaging "show, don't tell" approach unfolds. Your first encounter is with an immigration officer clad in military attire and then with individuals harboring animosity towards refugees. Rachel represents the first beacon of kindness you encounter.

Rachel welcomes you with a tour of the house. It's then you're introduced to Ariane. Depending on the backstory selected for your character, your interaction with Ariane will vary from an introductory get-to-know-you exchange to a reunion that involves catching up on past events. A crucial moment arises when Ariane inquires about your interests, a decision that will significantly influence the direction your journey takes in the game.
